Micromine provides a variety of training solutions ranging from generic public courses to tailored training using a variety of delivery methods to suit our clients differing requirements.

Classroom - Instructor-led*
          Hands-on training is delivered by a qualified instructor and is held at our premises. All participants in our training courses will have access to a computer, our helpful trainers and receive a thorough training manual. The course involves being taken through a number of exercises using real world data. All courses of a day length or more include lunch for each day of the course.

1:1 Training
Individual sessions tailored to individual requirements. These sessions are beneficial for those who do not have time to attend longer, standard courses pr for those with specific requirements.

Custom Training Sessions
Useful for groups who require training on specific topics of an application.
 
Onsite at your premises
Any of our standard or custom courses can also be provided at your premises subject to suitable facilities and resources being available.

Roving Trainer
After training, a roving trainer can assist individuals who have additional questions relating to their new working environment. This option provides an inexpensive and very effective post-course support and learning. 

LEGEND
* Courses will only commence subject to class sizes meeting a minimum requirement of three trainees. Micromine reserves the right to cancel courses as necessary if these requirements are not met. In the event of such a cancellation, Micromine will arrange an alternative session or refund your course fees in full.


 
Course: Introduction to MICROMINE
Summary: This course is designed to show the participant how to start using MICROMINE and to introduce some of the program’s key features.
Duration: 2 Days
Course: Resource Estimation
Summary: Proficient users who wish to create resource estimations.  Understanding of geology and Introduction To MICROMINE are recommended prerequisistes.

Course: Vizex
Summary: In the Vizex environment, you are not restricted to having just one occurrence of an object, such as an air photo, but can load as many objects as your computer will allow.
Duration: ½ Day
Course: Advanced Geology
Summary: MICROMINE is widely regarded for it ability to handle drillhole data. This course works through the way drillhole data is stored in MICROMINE and then moves on to cover the ways in which this data can be validated, manipulated and used in calculations.
Duration: 2 Days
Course: Advanced Plotting
Summary: The participants in this course will be eager to learn more about plotting in MICROMINE. This course will teach the user how to make the most out of a very powerful tool.

Course: Advanced Macros
Summary: The participants in this course will be eager to learn more about creating macros in MICROMINE. This course will teach the user how to automate many routine tasks.

Course: Exploration
Summary: Participants would have experience using MICROMINE, ideally having partaken in the introductory course, and would like to use some of the more advance drill hole manipulation functions available in MICROMINE.

Summary: This course is intended primarily for Mine Geology personnel that are required to undertake the daily grade calculations.  Its secondary audience is any personnel that make use of the grade data.

Summary: This course is designed for PITRAM Administrators, new to using PITRAM, who are responsible for the validity and use of a site’s PITRAM data.

Course: Mine Control Operator
Summary: This course is designed for PITRAM Operators, new to using PITRAM, who are responsible for a site’s data capture.

Course: Reporting Course
Summary: This course is designed for PITRAM Users who need to extract, analyse, and report on data captured in PITRAM.
